Constantia Glen, the magnificent boutique wine estate perched high on the upper reaches of the Constantiaberg, is known for superb cool climate Sauvignon blancs, with each vintage consistently awarded 4 ½ stars in the Platter’s South African Wines guide. Their focus on Bordeaux style blend red wines has also won global recognition. Shaped by the vineyards’ singular location just below Constantia Nek, the close proximity to False bay, varying site specific vineyard blocks, soil types and clones lend Constantia Glen wines their unique character.
Constantia Glen Two is a rich, concentrated blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon, this barrel fermented wine combines oak and tropical fruit flavours with a well-integrated minerality. An elegant wine with exceptional balance and length and fantastic ageing potential.
Constantia Glen Three is a classic Constantia blend of the three most revered Bordeaux varieties – Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. A cool maritime climate and strict crop control results in perfectly ripened grapes that are hand harvested, meticulously sorted and batch vinified.
Constantia Glen Five is their flagship red. A classic Constantia blend of the five archetypal Bordeaux varieties – Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot. A cool maritime climate and strict crop control results in perfectly ripened grapes that are hand harvested, meticulously sorted and batch vinified.
