2012 Bizoe Estalet Syrah x 6 bottles 750ml

The name Estalet embodies the fusion between the winemaker's creative, strong and loyal wife and love, and the unpretentious, exceptional and down to earth Syrah vine -"firmly rooted in the ground. A perfect match. A perfect experience. A perfect love.
Grapes were picked at 23.5° Brix and had two weeks skin-contact in open fermenters. Skins and juice were mixed daily. After fermentation, the skins were pressed with 1.2 bars of pressure. Using only dried yeast, fermentation occurred over a two week period. Matured for 17 months in new and second fill French oak barrels.
Limited edition with only 4 500 bottles produced.
