Standing on a shaped lotus base, her right hand open with the palm facing out, her left hand raised holding a scepter, clad in a flowing robe falling short at the feet, her neck adorned with a necklace, her serene face with downcast eyes and the mouth caught in a gentle smile, her high chignon adorned with an elaborate headdress centered by a figure of the Amitabha Buddha, all before a halo; together with an associated gilt-black lacquer shrine, zushi, fitted with two elaborately hinged doors and lockplate, opening to reveal a gilded interior, the top with cloud-shaped frieze
