Beyerskloof, a name synonymous with passion and innovation in the South African wine industry, is a producer that captures the essence of the nation's wine culture. Founded in 1988 by Beyers Truter, a pioneer in the world of Pinotage, Beyerskloof has been at the forefront of promoting this uniquely South African grape varietal. Situated in Stellenbosch, this estate is celebrated for its devotion to crafting world-class wines, especially its acclaimed Pinotage expressions. Beyerskloof's dedication to sustainability and the environment is evident in their vineyard practices. Beyers was a founding member of the Pinotage Association. He is also a retired member of the prestigious Cape Winemakers Guild. Their iconic Beyerskloof Pinotage range showcases the versatility of this grape, producing wines that range from rich and robust to elegant and nuanced. Today, Winemaker Anri Truter continues to build on the legacy of his father, Beyers, while driving new horizons. With his passion for innovation in the vineyards and cellar, the future of Beyerskloof and Pinotage holds exciting promise.

The 2000 and 2001 Beyerskloof are Bordeaux style blends as is the Field Blend. The Beyerskloof Synergy is a Cape blend represents the synergy of their four red grape varieties, and all the different slopes, soils and micro-climates where they are grown.
