4 x 2007 Wildekrans Jake White 1.5Lt. MAGNUMS, Provenance: Restaurant Mosaic Wine Cellar Collection
Wildekrans Estate is a boutique winery situated near Bot River. Its wines, which are an expression of the unique cool-climate terroir, originate in vineyards located on rolling hills overlooking Walker Bay. This estate is well known for its Barrel Selection Pinotage, which received a Grand’Or Medal at the Michelangelo International Wine Awards. The Jake White Collection 2007 Cape Blend was in the top three of the new Absa Perold Cape Blend Competition. This wine was selected from first-fill French oak barrels in which the wines matured for 12 months. Elegant and classically styled, it is characterised by rich, ripe dark berry fruit underpinned by a subtle fynbos spiciness.
Former Springbok rugby coach Jake White, in conjunction with winemakers Wildekrans, launched the 2007 limited edition of premium red wine commemorating the winning of the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
There were 2007 bottles produced and each one has been numbered and personally signed by Jake White himself.
These bottles were purchased on the 2012 Nederburg Auction.
These will make a phenomenal and unique gift for any rugby enthusiast.
