LOCATION : ONLINE THE IN BETWEENS OF LIFE, 2024, 120cmx120cm- mixed media on paper Wisani Manyisis- Power Structure-2024-100cmx100cm-mixed media on paper Wisani Manyisi is a contemporary hailing Limpopo, South Africa. Currently residing in Johannesburg, his artistic journey is deeply rooted in his fascination with the psychology of children, which I juxtapose with my own childhood memories. His art practise took a more serious and focused form in 2010 when he attained his Foundation in Art Practice from the Funda Centre. From there he completed his Diploma and a B-Tech in Fine Arts at the Tshwane University of Technology in 2013. He went on to further expand his education by obtaining a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, specializing in Creative and Visual Arts, from the University of Johannesburg in 2019. He currently works as both an artist and art educator and is based at August House.
