This has been a highly decorated wine garnering a Veritas Double Gold and Mondus Vini Gold. Wine Enthusiast also scored this wine well writing "Here's a fantastic South African Chenin Blanc that illustrates the depth and complexity that this grape has to offer when made well. Warm and toasty in the nose with wood-grilled apple, gently toasted brioche with fig preserves and peach pit aromas. The mouth is full and powerful with ripe flavors of red apple skins and honeydew followed by a lively burst of orange citrus on the finish. Balanced with excellent evolution and a long, mouth-watering finish." At the 2022 Trophy Wine Show last year, Spier Wine Farm took home the coveted top spot as the ‘Most Successful Producer Overall’.
